Great news for Denver Tech enthusiast: Denver is in the finals, competing for a $50 million grant to fund transportation related initiatives. The Beyond Traffic: Smart City Challenge has selected 6 other US cities to compete for the most intelligent transportation system. The other finalists are:
Austin
Pittsburg
San Francisco
Kansas City, Missouri
Portland, Oregon
Columbus, Ohio
Each city will be granted $100,000 to develop a pitch. We will be crossing our fingers for Denver to win!
