Stapleton was recently ranked as the 4th best-selling master-planned community in the U.S. last year, moving up from 6th place in 2014.  A whopping 1200 homes were sold in Stapleton in 2015: 665 new home sales and 548 resale homes.  According to Lisa Hall, Community Development Director at Forest City Stapleton, 30% of people selling their homes in Stapleton did so to buy another house in Stapleton.  Sales are exceeding projections across the board.

To date there are 10 neighborhoods featuring a diverse mix of builders, home types and pricing which attracts a wide range of home buyers.  Fantastic schools, parks, pools and open space make this a popular place to call home.

“Forest City’s Stapleton community is one of the most unique examples of adaptive reuse anywhere in the country,” said Kenneth S. Perlman, principal for John Burns Real Estate Consulting, a real estate research and consulting firm.

“Today a classic neighborhood development theme characterized by parks, walking paths, tree-lined streets and architecturally diverse homes have proven just how successful the reinvention of the Stapleton International Airport has been,” Perlman added.

Stapleton is expected to have continued in 2016 with the opening of commuter rail stations connecting Stapleton to downtown Denver and Denver International Airport.
