The Douglas County Senior Group has been complaining about a lack of space for their meetings. They, for example, had to cancel their Douglas County Senior Council meeting, which are scheduled to be on the first Thursday each month, in Lone Tree because the Lone Tree Civic Center simply did not offer enough space for the event. The group also says, that the RidgeGate Community Center is an alternative for now, but with the group growing, it might not be big enough in the following months either. The group suggested to convert the old library building into a community space that they could use for their meetings. What will happen with the old library in Lone Tree has yet to be determined.
