The latest sales data shows a continued strong real estate market in the Denver metropolitan area even with near record low inventory numbers that showed declining numbers again in September 2012. Inventory of detached single family, townhomes and condominiums for sale was 10,993 at the start of January and 10,470 the end of September. On a year over year basis, remarkably September sales were up over 18% compared to September 2011. The average days on the market was considerably less at 64 days in September 2012 vs. September 2011. See the Denver Metrolist chart below for all the latest data.
