The 30-year mortgage saw an all time low last week bottoming out at 3.37% and right now rates are hovering around 3.5%. Can you imagine going back 25 years to the rates of the 1980's that were 12%, 13% or more? According to BankRate.com, about 43% of panelists think the rates will remain relatively unchanged over the next week; 43% believe they will go up; and, 14% believe they will go down. I really think it does not matter that much when you consider even with a 1-2% fluctuation these rates are still a huge bargain!
