As a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Colorado Children's Chorale, I can attest first hand that they are one of the best children's choirs in the State of Colorado, if not across the Nation. On November 18, 2012 at the Colorado Children's Chorale will be performing their annual Holiday Concert at the Lone Tree Arts Center in Lone Tree, Colorado. If you have not had the opportunity to experience this performance, it is simply one of those activities that should be on your holiday season to-do list.
The Chorale is a 501©(3) not-for-profit organization that has brought its artistry to audiences throughout the world for more than three decades. The Chorale performs a diverse repertoire with an cutting-edge stage presentation and unique theatrical essence. It is comprised of children between the ages of 7 and 14 and trains 500 members annually from all ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds representing more than 180 schools in the Denver metro area and throughout Colorado. The Chorale has appeared with world-renowned artists, has performed for numerous dignitaries, has had broadcast appearances on major networks as well as appearing with locally known organizations such as The Colorado Symphony and the Colorado Ballet. The Chorale has been awarded the Governor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts, the Mayor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts and the prestigious El Pomar Award for Excellence in Arts and Humanities.
Notwithstanding their impressive list of accomplishments, the Chorale is simply one of the best concerts you can experience and I highly recommend making this one of the venues you attend this year.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Lone Tree Arts Center Box Office in person, via phone at 720-509-1000, online or in person the day of the performace.
