A Record Turnout for Our Event of Gratitude!
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all our friends, clients, and vendors who came to this years event. We had a record turnout for this year's Drive-Thru 2020 Client Appreciation Party breaking last year's record. When we first came up with the idea of a "Drive-Thru" since COVID prevents our usual indoor party inside our home, we did not know how people would respond. Well...it was a most rewarding experience for us and we hope for all our friends, clients, and vendors.
The morning started off with 4" inches of snow, however the forecast was for sunshine and warmer temperatures in the afternoon. Our neighbor across the street knew we had a huge event for the afternoon and evening, 3:00 to 7:00, and was so kind to clear our driveway with his snow blower. This was a great help as my wife, Patti, and I had a lot of other last minute items we were organizing and did not have a lot of time to spare.
We promised extra special Goody Bags this year to help make up for not being able to socialize indoors. For everyone who attended the event, I think they will agree that Patti "hit the ball out of the park".
The sun did come out and made for a pleasant afternoon as you can tell from the photo, I did not need a coat as the event was about to start. Our first guests, Karen and Ken arrived just before 3:00. They really kicked off the event for us with Ken's flattering compliment which I will never forget. Thank you Ken.
