All price ranges continue to improve in Denver's housing market including the upper end. Year to date through May 2012, Buyers purchased $242,283,444 in single-family Million Dollar properties comprised of 160 transactions compared to $ 220,218,269 in sales and 152 transactions in 2011. This resulted in an increase of 5.3% in transactions and a 10% increase in volume respectively. Year to date the highest sold property for 2012 is $5,250,000 (April) which is a 9.4% increase from the 2011 highest priced sale of $4,800,000 (January). The number of days on the market is now 11.5% less at 231 days versus 261 days in 2011.
