At first glance it may look like the market is pretty steady in sales but if you take a closer look, the demand for properties in the greater Denver area has sky-rocketed. While in 2014 the average amount of days a property was on the market is about 28 days, properties these days are off the market after 19. This also has an effect on the average price. In 2014 buyers paid an average of $375,000 for a detached single family home. A year later, the average has increased by over 12% to $420,000. For townhomes the percentage is even higher.
