The South Suburban Parks and Recreation District in Lone Tree is pushing their boundaries. They just expanded their area by 783 acres.

The property added includes parcels owned by the City of Lone Tree, Rampart Range Metropolitan District No. 1, RidgeGate Investments Inc. and SpringGate LLC.  Most of the property is currently ranchland, and will now provide trails, parks and recreation to residents on the west side of I-25.

This is the largest inclusion of acreage to South Suburban since 1995.  The purpose is to provide a more balanced offering of parks, trails, and recreation to all of Lone Tree Residents, not just those who live on the east side of I-25.

South Suburban Parks and Recreation provides outdoor services to over 145,000 residents living in Lone Tree, Littleton, and surrounding areas.
